• Play an active or supporting role in helping to ensure the museum's long-term success in our community

Individual (one voting member): $10.00
Family (two voting members): $15.00

How to Donate:

If you want to sign up to donate online (we can send you an invoice), please visit our contact page. Alternatively, donations may be made at the museum or by mailing in a cheque to:

You may also donate on-line via www.vancouverfoundation.ca.  Go to the List of Agency Endowments by highlighting "For Agency Funds" on the main page.  Search for the Osoyoos Museum Society either by selecting the letter O or by typing in our name.  When our name appears, click on "More".  At the bottom of our contact information, you may click on "Donate Now".  This will enable you to make an on-line donation using your credit card.

Another way to donate on-line is through CanadaHelps.org.  Click on the Donate Now button to the left and select Osoyoos Museum Endowment Fund in the Fund/Designation box.

Osoyoos Museum Endowment Fund

The Osoyoos Museum has served and enriched the town of Osoyoos and surrounding area for half a century and, with our future facility, will continue to serve the community for many, many years to come.

The Purpose of the Endowment Fund:

The Osoyoos Museum Society established the endowment fund with Vancouver Foundation in February 2008.  Its purpose is to help provide long-term funding and financial stability to the Osoyoos Museum in perpetuity.  Similar to a permanent term deposit, the investment income from the endowment fund is paid to the museum on an annual basis, forever.  Not only does the endowment fund enhance the museum's overall sustainability and stability, it also increases opportunities for growth, enhances the organizational capacity of the museum, helps to preserve the history of the Osoyoos area, and increases the museum's ability to diversify education and heritage services.  Furthermore, the endowment fund offers a unique vehicle of sound fiscal management for those wishing to support the museum with financial gifts.
